If you’re a retired guy—or are approaching retirement—or are simply thinking ahead, then this site is for you. You may be on top of the world or reeling from a crisis. Either way, my guess is that you’ve given life your all, have made an impact as a husband, father, leader, colleague, mentor, or friend, and are hoping for an even better end-game.
Only there’s a problem. You can’t quite define it, but it gnaws at you. You sense its presence in the background of your thoughts. It’s like a song stuck in your head, only you can’t remember the words. If you’re honest with yourself, it might be a fear that this tour through the years isn’t going 
to end the way you’ve planned it. Truth is, you’re routine is becoming a little repetitive, lacking in substance, and you have a hunch you’re headed for more of the same. You’re thinking, There’s got to be more to my life than this. Something is missing. At times, all of us feel as if we’re trapped in an aging body. The eyes, joints, hearts, and muscles we once took for granted don’t work like they used to. Those jump shots that used to swish through the net now only reach the front of the rim.
The aging body I’m talking about, however, is more than our physical selves. Something in our spirit also feels trapped. After all that we’ve achieved and experienced, we’re stuck in a holding pattern, waiting to live out our days in quiet comfort yet feeling capable of so much more. Do you know what I’m saying? Do you sense the New Man inside, waiting to be discovered and kicked into gear? Maybe you’ve had a glimpse of the possibilities—the opportunity to find new purpose, to launch into an adventure, to be a part of something bigger than yourself, to renew your inner life and outer relationships—but don’t quite know how to get from here to there. What I’m proposing is a journey of the spirit, a chance to press the “refresh” button of your life. It’s not too late. Your New Man is waiting for you, ready to be awakened. This is your best journey ever.
